If you've ever wondered whether IVCC students are talented, the Student Art Exhibit will provide the answer.
The show will run from April 15 through April 27 in the Cultural Center Link with a reception on April 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The exhibit will feature over 200 works from students enrolled in Design I and II, Drawing I and II, Pottery, Photography and Visual Communications.
Francie Skoflanc, director of the exhibit, said many different types of media would be display including charcoal, ink, acrylic, paint, stoneware, graphics, and mixed media.
Art instructors Dana Collins, David Bergsieker and Skoflanc are selecting works from each of the classes they teach.
"It is always exciting to do this (exhibit)," Skoflanc said. "There is a lot of talent at IVCC, and the instructors work hard teaching fine art principles to the students."
Following the IVCC show, the Cultural Center link will be the setting for an exhibit of art works by area high school students. The high school exhibit runs from May 6 through May 17 with a reception on May 7.
