The softball team will host a softball clinic on March 2 and March 3 on campus.
Participants in grades 2 through 6 will meet from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on March 2 and from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 3. Grades 7-12 will meet from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on March 2 and from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on March 3.
In addition to the general session, a pitching session will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 2 for all grades and from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 3.
The cost of the general session or open pitching session is $25. Participants may sign up for both session for a total fee of $40. All participants will receive an IVCC T-shirt. In addition, all participants will receive instruction from the four clinic directors and current IVCC softball players.
Clinic directors are Head Softball Coach Cory Tomasson, Assistant Coach Bob Reese, pitching instructor Merle Jenkins and clinic instructor Jim Sorrentino.
