Get ready for Mind Games in the Illinois Valley.

Benito Gonzalez, a former IVCC electronics student, recently opened a new hobby store, Mind Games, in LaSalle.

The store specializes in role-playing merchandise, like Dungeons and Dragons or Vampire,

collectible card games, like MAGIC or Raw Deal, and miniature war games, like Vor and Mage Knight.

"I’m very glad to be operating in the area again," Gonzalez said, "I was also happy to hear about the gaming group that is based at IV."

Mind Games is located at 333 Third St.
