Thank you to Dr. Lynch and the staff of the IV Leader for the story in the March 21 issue about IVCC’S first Phi Theta Kappa leadership development class.
The article did a particularly wonderful job of highlighting the accomplishments of our students, Sandy Beard, Melanie Duggan, Jennifer Ebker, Crystal Fulara, and Jackie Stevenson. Each of these students has tremendous leadership potential.
Thank you, as well, for highlighting the advantages of this class for all IVCC students. It truly is a class that can make a difference in the lives of the students who take it, as well as in the communities that they are part of.
We appreciate the IV Leader’s efforts in promoting this class and in committing the space to a thorough discussion of a significant learning opportunity for our students.
As the story pointed out, the class is being offered again this fall. It will be a three-credit, eight-week class. We invite all IVCC students to join us.Jill Urban-BollisKirk Lockwood
