The IVCC Chorale Concert on April 20 will feature a variety of music.

Conductor Norm Engstrom said the pieces will be from the literature of Western music from the last 400 years and will include classical, pop, country, musical comedy, folk and spiritual selections.

Engstrom said the concert will showcase pieces the students have been working on all semester.

"If you enjoyed singing in choir in high school or church, or if you know someone who enjoys singing, come and see what we do and join us in the fall semester," Engstrom said.

The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. in the Cultural Centre, free of charge.

Adding that anyone can sign up for the one credit hour course, Engstrom said "All that is required is a love of singing."

Engstrom said the chorale would be reviving the Madrigal Dinner in the fall. A Madrigal Dinner was staged on campus for over 25 years, but had not been presented recently.
