REGISTER EARLY: Registration for summer and fall 2001 semesters begins April 16 at 8 a.m. in the Office of Admissions and Records. In-person registration will be accepted beginning that day; phone and fax registration will be accepted beginning April 17. Kelly Conrad, director of admissions, said faxed and mailed registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Conrad said students should keep in mind that prerequisites are being checked electronically, so if the computer doesn't show a prerequisite has been met, the student may be asked to see a counselor or instructor for permission to enroll in a course. First-time, full-time students are required to see a counselor prior to registration.
Conrad said she expected the class schedule booklets to be available during the first week of April. Class schedules are on the IVCC website at www.ivcc.edu
"I encourage students to register early for their summer and fall classes in order to ensure the best times and instructors of choice," Conrad said.
