The IVCC Foundation will hold its 75th Anniversary Ball on Feb. 12 and a semi-formal Valentines Dance at the Celebration 150 Union Hall in LaSalle.
The black-tie optional fundraiser for the Foundation is open to all who make reservations in advance through Bonita Dahlbach, IVCCs director of development.
"We encourage students to participate," Dahlbach said. "They are definitely welcome."
Musical entertainment will be provided by Class Act I of Amboy, a 15-piece orchestra and four singers.
Tickets, which include admittance and a dinner choice of either prime rib or chicken Wellington, are $35 per person or $70 a couple. There will also be a raffle with weekend getaways among the prizes.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cash bar. Dinner is at 7 p.m. and dancing begins at 8 p.m.
Dahlbach said she anticipates attendance of at least 200 people. This is the first time the Foundation has hosted such an event.
"I think it will be a very classy event," Dahlbach said. "We hope to do it up so nice that it will be unmatched by others in the area."
