Dear Eric,
It's great to see that you're planning ahead. At this time of the year we all start to think about warmer seasons.
At press time, both the summer and fall class schedules were to arrive on campus on April 10. Registration for both summer and fall is slated to begin on April 17.
Students can make counselor appointments for late March.

I need to drop MTH 1007. I'm way behind and failing. How do I drop it?

Dear Mark,
Counselors always hope students won't have to drop classes but in certain circumstances it is the best option.
The first step is to discuss your situation with the instructor. He or she may have suggestions about what you can do to stay in the class and be successful.
If you both decide you should drop, then you must ask the instructor to complete an official withdrawal form and submit it to the Records/Admissions Office. The last day for you to withdraw this semester is April 7.
Remember, don't just stop going to class and assume the instructor will drop you. That doesn't always happen. Many students have been surprised when the grade report arrives with an F for a class they assumed had been dropped.
