Back by popular demand, intramural basketball kicked off on April 16 and will wrap up with playoff on May 7.
Five teams with a total of 50 participants are playing four games, all on Sunday evenings. Currently, the staff team led by Fran Brolley is in the lead with a record of 2 – 0.
Commenting on the number who turned out for basketball, Intramural Director Bob Koopmann said, "It’s good enough for a league. It (basketball) was popular in the fall semester, so why not do it again?"
Koopmann said people have shown an interest in ping-pong, which could be set for around finals.
