Apache correspondent goes medieval
Photos by Jo Zulkowsky IVCC students Jo Zulkowsky, an Apache columnist, and Mark Meyer spent this semester studying in Canterbury, England at Canterbury Christ Church University College. A total of 27 Illinois students spent Jan. 4 through April 8 in the program offered through the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs. In Canterbury, a medieval town of about 25,000 people, Zulkowsky stayed with a host Mom, just a short walk from the campus. In this home-stay, Zulkowsky was able to experience English traditions and customs first-hand. |
