When the most recent college paychecks were distributed, all of the full-time faculty had been declared dead.
On W-2 forms, enclosed with the checks, a box marked "deceased" had been mistakenly checked.
Business office staff members said the mistake was due to a change in the form that the printer was unaware of. When the error was brought to the attention of the business office, the W-2s were withdrawn. New W-2s are being issued.
Of course, IVCC is better off than the state of Georgia. The change in W-2 forms led only to the "death" of 110 people at IVCC; in Georgia, all state employees "died."
