Academically priced software is available to IVCC students through the bookstore.
"Academic software is identical to software purchased at stores such as Best Buy and is available to students at a reduced price," said bookstore manager Lauren Sandberg.
The bookstore has access to many of the most popular software packages including those taught on campus and at extension sites, she said. Bookstore bestsellers include Turbo Pascal, Microsoft Office 97, Word 97, Excel 97, Adobe Pagemaker and Autocad 13.
Some packages include free books and software such as Norton Antivirus, she said.
Any student interested in a price quote or in ordering software through the bookstore can speak to Sandberg. Most software will arrive in five to seven days, she said.
A copy of a current schedule or an IVCC photo ID is required to purchase software through the bookstore.
