30 students initiated into PTK

The Rho Omega chapter of Phi Theta Kappa inducted 30 students at its initiation ceremony Feb. 4.

The new members of the honorary are: Julie Arndt of Rutland, Stephen Berryhill of Streator, Lynn Cissell of Princeton, Lynn Delaney of Seatonville, Nicholas Dzierzynski of Peru, Amanda Ensor of Peru, Alissa Holverson of Ottawa, Nicole Huettemann of Seatonville, Sharon Hundt of Ottawa.

Also: Nathan Johnson of Princeton, Bonita Kaiser of Mendota, Tiffany Kelly of Marseilles, Katherine Kibilka of LaSalle, Lisa Link of Ottawa, Jason Leone of Peru, Tara Lyons of Spring Valley, Cheryl Lucas of Spring Valley, Sarah Makeever of Ottawa, Eric Mickelson of Princeton.

Phi Theta Kappa is the only nationally recognized honor organization for community colleges. Students must achieve a 3.5 grade point average to be eligible for membership.
