"The Man Who Came to Dinner" will be performed by the Hammes doing Readers’ Theatre in D-223 at 7 p.m. on March 1.
The cast, all members of the college faculty and staff, features Steve Rhoades as Sheridan Whiteside and Dana Collins as Maggie Cutler. Rhoades is directing the reading.
"It’s live, it’s free, and it’s funny, we hope," Rhoades said. "What we lack in talent, we make up for in enthusiasm."
Other members of the cast are: Kim Radek, Mary Lou Meader, Roseann Webb, Bonita Dahlbach, Alice Steljes, Lynn Rhea, Sherry Day, Mike Phillips, Lou Caldwell, Giacomo Leone, Jim Michael, Mike Sankovich, Brian Campbell and Rose Marie Lynch.
The comedy, written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, will be presented free of charge. Donations will be accepted for scholarships provided in the memory of former instructors in the Humanities and Fine Arts Division.
