$200 paid for pies
Instructors Marge Hunt, Doug Stockley, Bob Reese and Director of Nursing Bonnie Grusk won (or lost?) the Phi Theta Kappa pie in the face contest. The four received their pies at a public ceremony in the courtyard March 31.
The contest pitted three teams of instructors in a fund-raising competition. The team that received the most money in donations won the pie in the face. The event raised nearly $200 for PTK.
Members of the other teams were Cory Tomasson, Lou Caldwell, David Kuester and Pat Cole on one team, and Del Tunnel, Sue Caley Jeff Carver and Wes Black on the other.
April 8, 1999 the Apache
