Candidate for Student Representative
The following information and comments are the candidate's responses to an Apache questionnaire

Experience in IVCC activities:
Apache 1993, SNA
Experience in student government:
None
Why running for the SGA:
To try and improve IVCC, to do a good job representing the needs of all students and the handicapped/disabled students as I am disabled.
Why that office:
To try and solve some of the problems at IVCC.
Qualifications:
I served on the council for the high rise. I also served on the Project NOA, Spring Valley council. Also I represented IV Private Duty Service.
Issues/Problems the SGA should address:
Parking problems for the handicapped. Parking lots 1 and 6 are too far to walk for the disabled with heart problems. Problem of profanity in the cafeteria - swearing.
Suggestions for getting students more involved on campus:
Have more activities that represent student wants.
Should the college offer tuition waivers to athletes and/or to leaders of campus activities?
Yes
Other comments:
I believe that I can be a good student representative because I will make representing the students and their needs a top priority which I feel will improve IVCC.
