Earth Day Celebrated on campus

Students in sociology of social problems and the children from Kidz Kampus put up a display in the Cultural Centre link for Earth Day on April 22.

Their message is "to save the earth, you have to do nice things to it," said sociology instructor Patricia Cole.

She also said, "Together they decided the nice thing to do was to plant flowers and trees and to take care of the water."

Cole added, "Notice our ocean and fish, but please overlook the very plastic quality of our flowers and trees."
