Eagles place third in regional play

In Region 4 competition at Moraine Valley Community
College and Evergreen Racquet Club the Eagles placed 3rd in total points scored
for the tournament. Illinois Valley Community College finished with a 3-2 record
and were third in the division.
Rob Sauers and Dylan Slupianek at No. 3 doubles won the
division. No. 1 Doubles team Jake Richter and Jordan Terzick won in the first
round, as well as No. 2 doubles team Pat Kromm and Kyle Entwistle.
IVCC Tennis coach Steve Swett named Suaers and Slupianek as
the “players of the tournament.”
Slupianek plans to continue playing tennis next season for
Lewis University, according to Swett.
