Love to read?

Because Valentine’s Day has approached, it is a good time
to leak out the sappy, romantic books, movies, songs, and TV shows.
I have read a lot of sappy books in my time, but there are
some that I have found to be moderately entertaining. One of my favorite
contemporary romantic authors is Jane Green. She has written many funny and
comforting books about relationships, jobs, friends, and, of course, love. Many
of her books apply to different ages and different circumstances.
If you are a parent, you’ll enjoy Babyville. If you are about
to get married, To Have and To Hold is a fun book that acts as a warning sign,
but it will be worth your time. If you are confused about the college
experience, Bookends will help you find comfort in your angst.
Some of my favorite Jane Green books are Jemima J., Mr.
Maybe, and The Other Woman. What’s nice about Jane Green’s novels is that there
are so many to choose from, and they are all entertaining and easy to relate to.
Each character is believable and will remind you somehow of yourself or someone
you know.
So, in order to put behind this flashy Hallmark holiday,
immerse yourself in a good book that will make you giggle.
Many of the libraries in the area have a bunch of Jane Green
shelved, and any one you choose will make this Valentine’s Day season just a tad
bit more tolerable.
