When choosing to higher one’s education there are several decisions one must make.
There are endless choice as to where one can go to school, however sometimes the actuality of getting in or being able to afford that school can cause some student’s dreams to come crashing to a halt. I just graduated from Princeton High School very recently, in fact it was last Friday, and when I came to my very first college class I was asked this question, “Why did you choose I.V.C.C.?”, and the answer is quite simple.
I chose IVCC because I graduated half a year early and didn’t want to lose my momentum. By attending class at a community college during the spring, instead of sitting around getting lazy, I feel as though I’m maintaining my focus and I will also be half a year ahead of my graduating high school class.
Another upside to choosing IVCC is that I can get my general education classes done while I am still close to home. I can have more time to figure out what exact major is for me, without having to pay the cost of an over-priced four-year university.
I decided that IVCC was for me because it honestly fit all of my needs. Through my enrollment at I.V.C.C. I know that I am utilizing a valuable resource for the betterment of my future, and most of all I know that I am not losing site of what goals I have and how important they are.
IVCC is opening doors for me and I think for other students as well. I feel as though I made the best choice that I could have by enrolling at IVCC for the spring semester, and I am very proud of that choice.
