Former IV Leader sports writer starts up his own sports website

    Former IVCC student and IV Leader Sports columnist, Adam Colmone, is looking to better his college education at Columbia College in Chicago.
    Colmone, who has just started a website, www.insidethesportsmind.com, writes up-to-date sports columns.
When asked why Colmone decided to transfer to Columbia College, he stated, “It’s a good school for my major and its right in the city. There are a lot of great opportunities with internships that will help you land your first job.”
    With the Illinois Valley in his past, Chicago and college seem to keep him occupied but he manages to still “update and design his web page, enjoy the college life, and talk to Satch a lot.”
    Insidethesportsmind.com seems to be the next big thing on Colmone’s agenda where one can see his writing improve, article by article.
    “Around last October I bought the URL address and just didn’t have much time to work on it, and now I’m continuing to add more features,” Colmone said. “The reason I started it was to use for a portfolio when I go to look for a job. It’s always good to have as much as you can to say to your future employer.”
    Colmone is not alone when it comes to designing his web page. He wanted to make it known that Dan Grimm, a web page designer, has helped him greatly throughout the year when their schedules match.
    The future for insidethesportsmind.com is bright as Colmone stated, “Check it out. In the near feature I will be having other columnist join my team of writers to offer more columns, more often.”
