  Survey of Student Engagement scheduled on campus

    A survey will be administered March 20-25 in some classes at IVCC, so that faculty and administrators can get a better picture of IVCC students compared to students at other two-year colleges.
    The survey, called The Community College Student Report, gives you an opportunity to share your views on your college experience, according to Vera Adams and Cathy Bangert from Institutional Research at IVCC.
    The paper and pencil survey focuses on:
    * how you spend their time
    * nature and quality of your interactions with faculty members and peers
    * what you have gained from classes and your wider college experience
    The survey is expected to take about 45 minutes of class time.
    Bangert and Adams said the survey will help IVCC examine educational practices and identify ways to improve programs and services for students.
