Elections for three freshman members of the Student Government Association will be Sept. 17 and 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m in the lobby.
Open posts are for one freshman representative and two freshman programming board members. Ellen Vogelgesang, who is running for freshman representative, will be the only candidate on the ballot.
Sandy Beard, student services secretary, said three students had taken out petitions.
Full-time freshmen may be elected as write in candidates.
"There's still time for students to campaign and be elected as write-ins," Beard said.
All students can vote.
SGA advisor Cory Tomasson said he hoped the voter turnout would "match or increase our turnout from years past, which exceed the average college elections by 8 to 10 percent."
He added: "We are really excited about this year's Student Government. We are dealing with a variety of issues and events and the incoming freshmen members will play an integral part in plans."
