Intramurals continue with basketball

Intramural flag football has wrapped up and basketball is scheduled to begin Nov. 4.
The championship football game was scheduled for Oct. 24, after press time. The Pony Express team, led by Billy Terry, was the top seed for the double elimination playoffs that preceeded the championship game.
Intramural director Bob Koopmann said basketball is usually the most popular activity. Last year 83 people participated.
Other upcoming intramural activities include ping pong and coed volleyball, at times to be announced.
"This is the first year we are having coed volleyball, and I expect to have a lot of participants," Koopmann said.
Students, faculty and staff are welcome to participate in the activities.
