A Halloween-themed Reading Night has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Oct. 29 on campus.

Comedian and musician Dave Rudolf will be the featured entertainer. Rudolf will perform a show with a Halloween theme that is designed for all age groups in the Cultural Centre.

Mary Black, co-chair of the events, said: "I'm very excited that we were able to get Dave Rudolf to perform. He was here last spring. His show is very interactive and all the children in the audience were able to be on stage to actively participate in the show. What's great about his show is that it's not geared toward one specific age group; the parents participate too."

Librarian and national storyteller Jeanne Struna will be sharing a spooky story and providing information on how to become a national storyteller.

"Jeanne Struna's session is sure to be a pleaser for any high school student or adult who enjoys a good thriller," Black said.

A book fair will be open in the lobby from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and several area librarians will be available to sign people up for library cards.

The event is sponsored by the Division of Academic Achievement and the Student Government Association.
