Rho Omega chapter of PTK initiates 58

The Rho Omega chapter of Phi Theta Kappa inducted 58 students at two initiation ceremonies.

Membership in PTK, the only nationally recognized honor organization for community colleges, requires a minimum of 3.5 grade point average.

In ceremonies Oct. 12 and Oct. 18, the following students were inducted: Christine Sass of Ancona; Steve Gibson of Cedar Point; Michael Durdan of Grand Ridge; Debra Clausen and Margaret Goetz of Granville; Barbara Bouxsein of Hennepin; Omar Pureco of Ladd.

Also: Jane Knafelc, David Lijewski, Mathleen Milner, Matthew Sadowski, Nancy Schaefer and Andrea VanderSteeg of LaSalle; Amy Mikos of Lostant; Tony Derango, Jamie Emm, Nathan Sidwell and Diane Stremlau of Mendota; Michael Roche, Jennifer Samolitis, Jessica West and Megan Zomboracz of Oglesby.

Also: B. Eddie Bauman, Laura Borgarding, Cory DeWalt, Angel Duffy, Lee Dvorak, Elsie Imhof, Chandra Jensen, Jennifer Kennedy, Michelle Martin, Kim Mize, Angela Mucci, Stacy Niedzwecki, Linda Tri and Allan Woeckel of Ottawa.
