Deadlines announced for scholarships
Applications for over 100 scholarships are available in the Financial Aid Office, C-214. The awards, for the 2001-2002 academic year, have application deadlines that range from Dec. 15, 2000 through June 2001.
The scholarships offered through the IVCC Foundation are awarded to students who will be enrolled at IVCC in 2001-2002. Some of the other scholarships are available to students transferring to a university.
A number of the scholarships are limited to students in specific programs, but more than 20 Foundation awards are open to students in any field. GPA requirements also vary.
Award amounts range from $100 to $7,500.The deadline for most Foundation scholarships is March 2, 2001, but some have separate deadlines and require applicants to contact specific staff members at IVCC or at an area high school.
