More than 100 students who received scholarships from the IVCC Foundation are being honored at a dinner Sept. 9.
In addition to recognizing the students, who are recipients of over $75,000 in Foundation Scholarships, the dinner provides an opportunity for the students to meet with the donors.
Bonita Dahlbach, director of development, said the event is "filled with smiles and laughs as students and donors share their stories, ambitions and dreams."
The dinner will include presentations by a past scholarship recipient, Ralph Bowermaster, foundation president, and Dahlbach.
The dinner is at the Hotel Kaskaskia in LaSalle with seating at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Attendance is free for scholarship recipients and donors and $20 for others who wish to attend.
