Rosey Duncan, Dustin Eirhart, Jeff Lane and Matt Wagner captured the traveling trophy by edging out Jake Selner, Paul Bosi, Aaron Handzus and Frank Cinotto in a competition in St. Louis held at the end of the spring semester.

A total of 10 IVCC students qualified for the state finals of the Illinois Association of Electricity and Electronics Educators Skills Contest by virtue of their scores in regional competition.

The number connects the caller to the switchboard operator who will call for off-campus help such as ambulance, fire department or police. If the line is busy, the call automatically transfers to the Safety Service cellular phone carried by the guard on duty.
