Student Educators forming
Students in any field of education have an opportunity to form a new organization to be called Student Educators.
An organizational meeting is scheduled for Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. in E-232.
Diane Christianson, early childhood education coordinator, and Jill Urban-Bollis, educational psychology instructor, are co-advising.
Christianson said "the purpose of this organization is to gain recognition, supplement academic experiences, provide opportunities to exchange ideas in current events and guide students into the direction of their future."
She said the group would be open to students in early childhood education, elementary education, secondary education and special education.
