FUNDRAISING FOR FLORIDA: The Baseball and Softball Teams are currently fundraising for their trips to Florida over Spring Break. Both teams are selling raffle tickets. First Place is worth $2,500, and second prize is $1,000 cash. Tickets are $5 and can be bought by any softball or baseball member or in the baseball office.

BAKING FOR SPRING: The softball team will be having a bake sale at the Peru Walmart on Jan. 24, with all proceeds to benefit their spring trip to Florida. The Lady Apaches had a bake sale at the Princeton WalMart on Dec.5, and proceeds exceeded $280.

BASEBALL SHIRTS, HATS FOR SALE: Apache baseball shirts and hats are currently for sale in the Apache Baseball office or by contacting any baseball member. Shirts are $12 or 2 for $20, hats are approximately $17. Contact ext. 505 if you would like to purchase any of these. The shirts come in sizes from S-XXL.

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM MEMBERS: Sophomore Guard-Forward Lacey Tyler and Freshman Forward/Center Derek Baird were named to the All-Tournament team at the Apache Invitational. The team included 10 members.

APACHE INVITATIONAL RESULTS: Results of the 5th Annual Apache Invitational Classic on the first day included Waubonsee defeating Olivet Nazerene University JV, Glen Oaks, Michigan defeating Triton. In the night matches, IVCC got in the win column with their victory over St. Ambrose University 90-59, and Highland defeated Morton. The second day results included Glen Oaks defeating Waubonsee, Olivet Nazerene JV defeating Triton, Morton defeating IVCC, and Highland defeating St. Ambrose University.

UPCOMING GAMES: The Lady Apaches and Apaches will host Waubonsee on December 10 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively. The Waubonsee Chiefs were undefeated until their loss at the Apache Invitational in the second day when they faced Glen Oaks, Michigan.
